Hello Gators!

It is here! Our first practices, although not in the water, will start this week. Tomorrow, May 19 and Thursday, May 21 at 6:30pm we will host a dry-land workout. This is a great opportunity for everyone to meet the coaches and teammates. We will end at 7:15pm. Little Gator swimmers are invited to participate!

To be prepared, each swimmer should bring a towel, water bottle, and closed toed athletic shoes. Swimmers will stretch as a team and then do some exercises/ fun activities in the field. We will not be getting in the water.

Outstanding Payments

Many of our families have chosen to pay via check. If this is you, please plan to bring this with you to our dryland workouts this week or to your child's first attended practice. We will collected payments in person via Cash, Check or Venmo (@gulfwoodgatorsswimteam).

If you are unsure of your family's registration fee, we are happy to confirm with you!

Swim Meet Schedule Updates

Our swim meet schedule has changed just a little bit from our previous announcement:

The NFC meet that was on June 23 is cancelled. We have added an intrasquad "Tail-Gators" swim meet on Thursday, June 4. This will be a great practice meet for our swimmers! And parents... start thinking about those tailgate setups! Award(s) for fun tailgate themes will be given out!

First Official Practices & Parent Meetings on May 26th

All swimmers should be prepared at the first practice with towel, swim suit and goggles. Please no snorkeling masks. Our coaches will identify swimmer abilities and place them with teammates of similar skill levels.

Parent meetings will be held on May 26th at 9:00am and 7:15pm. Please plan to attend one of these scheduled parent meetings. If you are unable to attend we will catch you up! 

Little Gator Swim School will begin on Tuesday, June 2.  Families of Little Gator only swimmers will have a separate parent meeting on Tuesday, June 2 at 10:45am.
